The 5th edition of the Transatlantic Business Summit (TBS), under the motto “Shaping the Next Chapter”, took on a particularly symbolic significance by marking the official opening of the program of celebrations for the 75th anniversary of AmCham Portugal.
The TBS once again established itself as a space for strategic reflection and high-level dialogue on the major themes shaping the global context and their direct impact on the business world. Throughout the morning, business leaders, policy makers, diplomats and national and international experts gathered to discuss the main challenges and opportunities facing companies in a global landscape undergoing profound transformation.
The program addressed central topics such as the macroeconomic outlook for Portugal within the European context, business resilience during a period of transatlantic turbulence, the impact of protectionism and the energy transition, as well as the resilience of value chains, leadership and the reinvention of organizations, and the role of digitalization, innovation and simplification in strengthening transatlantic competitiveness.
By marking the beginning of the celebrations of AmCham Portugal’s 75th anniversary, this special edition reinforced its positioning as a benchmark platform for the business community, promoting the exchange of perspectives, strategic thinking and the building of bridges between Portugal, the United States and Europe.
