The new Lobbying Law came into force on July 27. A new regulatory reality that calls for attention and preparation, starting now.
The aim of this session was to make clearer what changes in practice, answer questions and help companies anticipate the steps they will need to take.
The session covered topics such as the scope of the law, the RTRI (Transparency Register of Interest Representation), registration and disclosure obligations, the duties and precautions to be taken, incompatibilities and the penalties provided for.
It was also stressed that, more than knowing the law, it is important to start preparing internal processes, responsibilities and practices now to meet the new requirements.
