Who can be a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Portugal?

A: Any person, company or organization of any nationality that identifies with the objectives of the Chamber can be a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Portugal, upon approval by the Board and payment of the annual fee defined in the General Assembly.

If I am not a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Portugal, can I participate in your events?

A: Some of the events organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Portugal are exclusive to members. However, many of the events we organize are open to non-Members, but the registration fee is higher. So that you have the possibility to know in advance all the events organized by us and to be able to participate in all of them and in the best conditions, we invite you to become a Partner.

We intend to expand the business in the USA/Portugal. How can the American Chamber of Commerce in Portugal help us?

A: The American Chamber of Commerce in Portugal, through its network of contacts, can help you in this matter. We can advise, provide specific information, help you find the business partner you are looking for, help arrange meetings with both potential partners and official and private organizations, prepare and schedule meetings that may be useful, etc.

We intend to contact potential business partners in the USA/Portugal. How can the American Chamber of Commerce in Portugal help us?

A: In addition to providing contacts for potential business partners, the American Chamber of Commerce in Portugal can collaborate in arranging meetings, preparing and sending documentation and/or in other areas that we may detect as necessary. To access these services, they must be members of the Chamber.

Can you provide us with a contact list of potential business partners (importers, exporters, distributors etc) in the USA/Portugal?

A: If you are member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Portugal, we can provide contact lists based on pre-defined parameters.

Can I promote my Company/Products/Services through the American Chamber of Commerce in Portugal?

A: Yes, you can. There are several ways to promote your Company/products/services through the Chamber’s media, in the events we organize and through other alternatives. Can the American Chamber of Commerce in Portugal help us find collaborators/employment?

A: The American Chamber of Commerce in Portugal does not provide any recruitment or placement services. However, within our network we will be able to disclose the situation. Another possibility will be to participate in the networking events that the Chamber organizes and which represent an excellent opportunity to meet people.
