The 5th edition of the Transatlantic Business Summit (TBS), held under the theme “Shaping the Next Chapter”, took on a particularly symbolic significance as it marked the official launch of the programme celebrating the 75th anniversary of AmCham Portugal.

Once again, TBS reaffirmed its role as a platform for strategic reflection and high-level dialogue on the key issues shaping the global landscape and their direct impact on the business community. Throughout the morning, business leaders, policymakers, diplomats, and national and international experts came together to discuss the main challenges and opportunities facing companies in a rapidly transforming global environment.

The programme addressed core topics such as Portugal’s macroeconomic outlook within the European context, business resilience in a period of transatlantic turbulence, the impact of protectionism and the energy transition, as well as the resilience of value chains, leadership and organisational reinvention, and the role of digitalisation, innovation, and simplification in strengthening transatlantic competitiveness.

By marking the beginning of the celebrations of AmCham Portugal’s 75th anniversary, this special edition further strengthened its positioning as a benchmark platform for the business community, fostering the exchange of perspectives, strategic thinking, and the building of bridges between Portugal, the United States, and Europe.
